Each year the silent auction raises critical funds to support our students through homework clubs, tutoring, afterschool programs, and additional resources to support our teachers and staff. Help us continue this tradition of excellence by supporting the 10th annual RCFES silent auction held on May 3, 2014 from 6:30-10:30 at Temple Shalom in Chevy Chase, MD.

Closet Clean-Out and Personal Shopping with a Pro
Do you rarely have the time to follow trends, let alone shop. Maybe trends are the last thing on your mind, but a classic wardrobe update is called for. A new job, a new body type, or just plain boredom with your old clothes may mean your closet is calling for an update. Former fashion editor Karen Sommer Shalett will spend two to three hours at your home helping you clean out your closet (there will be trying on) and another three hours (likely on a different day) taking you to a series of stores of your choice over another three hour period to help choose outfits that suit your body type, personal style, and the type of clothing you are looking for. (Closet cleaning can be swapped out for lunch instead). In addition to covering New York Fashion Week and writing about fashion for 13 years, Karen has offered closet and shopping consulting to her nearest and dearest for ten years.
